The Spiritual Life Society and Main Street Yoga Centers

The Spiritual Life Society is a 501(c)3 charitable/spiritual organization whose mission is to promote self-discovery, growth, and education for all, and healing, comfort, and sustenance to those in need.

Main Street Yoga Centers are a collective of independent Yoga and meditation teachers that serve their local communities and offer weekly classes, workshops, and Yoga/meditation teacher training programs.

We offer related activities and events like dance, kirtan, concerts, and more. Our facilities and ministers can host weddings, memorials, celebrations, recitals, concerts, parties, and other special events! Learn more about each location and their schedule below.

Main Street Yoga Center-Hudson and home of The Spiritual Life Society

Located at our original location in the Old Church on the Green. We are Ohio’s oldest Yoga center, and have been training students and teachers of Yoga and meditation since 1978. Meet ourExecutive Director, Melissa Ferrato! Melissa began studying yoga at age 16 and in 1999, she received her teacher’s certification at Sivananda Yoga Vendanta Centre in Canada. She also practices massage, and is a certified herbalist and acupuncturist. Melissa will be running our HÜG location. Contact her if you would like to teach or volunteer in helping create our Yoga/meditation community.

Main Street Yoga Center-Madison

Opened August 2022. We offer weekly classes, memberships, teacher trainings, workshops, special events, and more. Just East of downtown Madison, this studio space is a long-time gem in Madison, newly revived, with a Traditional Hatha Yoga focus and Flow-based schedule. Yoga teacher training programs start annually in person.

Originally founded as Wishing Tree Studio October 2019, and added to the Main Street Yoga locations in WI in June 2025. We offer weekly classes, memberships, teacher trainings, workshops, special events, and more. In the heart of downtown Oregon, this studio space is a sweet neighborhood place with vinyasa flow, meditation, and online classes.
